Programs are available that may help
lower the cost of TRUVADA for PrEP.
If you have questions about how to pay for your prescription, your doctor may be able to help you find and apply for assistance. There are several programs that could help, including some that may be available from your insurance company.
If you have insurance:
The Gilead Advancing Access® co-pay coupon card may help eligible patients save on their TRUVADA for PrEPco-pay.* It is not available for patients who are enrolled in any state- or federally-funded prescription drug program, such as Medicare Part D and Medicaid. Patients in the Medicare part D prescription coverage gap (the "donut hole") do not qualify.
*Enrollees will have to answer a few questions to confirm eligibility; restrictions apply. The program is subject to change at any time.
If you need assistance or do not have insurance:
Gilead’s U.S. Medication Assistance Program provides assistance to eligible, HIV-negative people in the United States who need financial assistance to pay for TRUVADA for PrEP. To find out if you are eligible, call 1-800-226-20561-800-226-2056 between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM (Eastern). You can also download the enrollment form to fill out with your healthcare provider.
